Crude Oil Exports

Bahia Blanca Stevedores Strike:

Stevedores have now gone back on strike since today (15th) morning. The strike is open ended.

Rosario TPR Terminal Strike:

Stevedores in Rosario TPR have returned to work since today (15th) noontime. Labor Ministry called for a compulsory 15-day truce.

San Nicolas New Port:

The San Nicolas Port Administration has advised that the South section of New Port will be closed for major maintenance work as from early December. There is no forecast how long this will last.

Wharfage frontage will be reduced by half.

Vessels calling at San Nicolás principally discharge fertilizers and steels.

 

 

Crude Oil Exports:

Crude oil exports from the Vaca Muerta Shale Oil and Gas field in Northwestern Patagonia are increasing.

The principal outlet for this field is Puerto Rosales, close to Bahia Blanca.

There are two SBMs for handling crude. Punta Cigueña and Punta Ancla.

Exports are loaded at Punta Cigueña.

During October 2022, the vessels calling for export cargoes are:

-Cabo Misaki / Crude 66,000 mt

-Chemtrans Polaris / Crude 8,500 mt

-Constellation / Crude 64,000 mt

-Hellespont Protector / Crude 68,000 mt

-Lumen N / Crude 60,000 mt

-PGC Alexandria / Crude 68,000 mt

-PGC Marina / Crude 67,000 mt

-Theo T / Crude 69,000 mt

STS BUNKER AT ZONA COMUN FOR NEXT DAYS:

Weather conditions during the coming days are expected to be adequate for deliveries. Towards the weekend the forecast is deterioration again.

As always, the STS operation is up to the discretion of the Master’s of the vessels involved.
