In view of the ongoing developing situation and different communications and instructions being issued by Sanitary Authorities of the Argentine Government we have chosen to send a consolidated daily report at the closing of working hours with an update of the day’s news.

National Holidays: December 24th noon onwards and December 25th. Also December 31st noon and January 01st 2021.
Strikes in Argentina: The strike remains ongoing. There are little prospects of a solution before Christmas. All reports are that the Unions and Management will not shift their positions. Meantime vessels are stacking up at Recalada and other anchorages. Latest estimate is over 140 vessels. Notwithstanding, some berths are working as highlighted in the list below. These are grain loading berths. The berths where meals and oils are loaded are shut down by strike.

Necochea: Two vessels in port. Both working normally.
Bahia Blanca: All grain loading operations were interrupted by Grain Surveyors Union. ADM has reached an agreement and it’s loading berth if working.
Pilot boat strike: The Labor Ministry has called a mandatory truce on this strike. Provided that the unions comply with the truce services will return to usual, which means that pilots will no longer be carried by, to and from vessels by the CoastGuard cutters.
