June 17th – STRIKE IN SAN LORENZO and ROSARIO

STRIKE IN SAN LORENZO and ROSARIO

In view of the ongoing developing situation and different communications and instructions being issued by Sanitary Authorities of the Argentine Government we have chosen to send a consolidated daily report at the closing of working hours with an update of the day’s news.

The port unions in San Lorenzo and Rosario have called out a 24 hour strike for Friday June 18th.

They are claiming to be given priority in the vaccination given their “exposure”.

If all unions join the strike vessels loading and shifting operations will most surely be severely curtailed.

At the moment of sending, there is no news of strikes at the sea ports (Necochea and Bahia Blanca) who have, notwithstanding, been claiming for vaccination forcing a 14 day quarantine on vessels prior berthing.

Will keep you posted.

Best regards,
Antares Servicios Maritimos S.A.
