Sunflower is forecast to cover 2 million hectares.
The extreme dry weather that has been affecting agricultural areas in Argentina over the last three years is the principal reason affecting the low yields and reduced sowing areas.

Off shore petroleum production South Atlantic:

Public audiences, a legal requirement prior commencing drilling, have been held at Mar del Plata prior commencement of operations.
Prior objections by local residents and legal injunctions placed in courts have been dismissed.
The area that has been tendered, and awarded is 307 miles off-shore Mar del Plata and awarded to Equinor, Shell and YPF.
Mar del Plata is expected to be the main operational base for this activity.
The early estimates issued by a variety of sources talk of a “conservative” minimum production potential amounting to 200,000 bb per day.
This volume would put the area on a level with Vaca Muerta’s production today.
