Necochea Re-opened and mv COFCO 1 grounding

In view of the ongoing developing situation and different communications and instructions being issued by Sanitary Authorities of the Argentine Government we have chosen to send a consolidated daily report at the closing of working hours with an update of the day’s news.

Necochea: CoastGuard re-opened Necochea today May 28th at 0800 hours with 1.80 meters swell. The port had been closed since May 25th at 1145 hours.


Mv COFCO 1 grounding:
As informed last night the mv COFCO 1 remains grounded at Km 289 of the River Parana, just north of San Pedro. Navigation is obstructed for vessels on a draft of over 7.50 meters. At the moment she is being assisted by three tugs, the BRUTUS, the COOPOR ESTIBADOR I and the ALBACORA and a fourth tug is expected today at about 1400 hours, the COOPOR ESTIBADOR II.
