Turkey is in the market for 48,000 tons of sunflower seed oil on March dates.
YPF crude oil Terminal on the North Patagonia coast:
As mentioned before, the environmental studies are underway prior to commence the building of YPF’s new terminal at Punta Colorada, Province of Rio Negro.
The tank farm will be built inside a 250 hectare installation.
Reported shore storage capacity will be 7 million barrels.
It will be fed from Vaca Muerta Shale Oil and Gas field on the north western area of Patagonia, Neuquen and Mendoza provinces.
A crude oil pipeline will be constructed to feed the installation.
The pipeline will commence in central Neuquen and follow a parallel path to the pipeline now feeding Puerto Rosales, close to Bahia Blanca. Once the new pipeline is close to the coast it will follow a southerly route along the coast up to the new installation.
Vessels will be loaded at two SBMs.
The schedule is that it will be up and running between end 2024 and early 2025.
