Soya bean harvest 2023-2024:
The harvest of soya beans is about to commence in earnest during the coming week.
There have been some delays in the initial harvesting due to rain, but drier weather is forecast for the coming week.
The Rosario and the Buenos Aires Grains Exchanges are estimating a total volume of 51,000,000 tons.
Sales of soya beans by farmers are still at a slower pace than is usual for this stage of the harvest.
Prices, locally, remains depressed, with Brazil’s plentiful crop already lifted is in the market.
All this encourages to hedge the sale of the beans.
