South Korea’s FLC has bought 60,000 tons of soya bean meal from Bunge, arrival date at disport early December 2024.
Malaysia is the market for a Supramax of soya bean meal during September.
Venezuela is wanting a Handy/Supramax during August.
Saudi Arabia is soon to issue a tender for maize, September dates.
Soya beans and soya bean products derivates exports from Argentina:
Exports of soya beans and soya bean derivates (soya bean meal, soya bean oil, and biofuels) have increased significantly. Today they stand at the highest volumes since 2020.
The accumulated volume for May 2024 is 5,100,000 tons.
Soya beans are mostly shipped to China, 1,400,000 tons.
Soya bean meal to SE Asia and Turkey 3,000,000 tons.
Soya oil to India, 543,000 tons.
Biofuels to Spain and to Northern America.

Bahia Blanca – Stevedores:
The stevedore union in Bahia Blanca are still refusing to work in overtime.
This means that loading-discharge operations are stopped today 20th, tomorrow 21st and will only take place Saturday 22nd between 07:00 and 13:00 hours.
After that they will resume Monday 24th at 07:00 hours
STS BUNKER AT ZONA COMUN FOR NEXT DAYS:
As always, the STS operation is up to the discretion of the Masters of the vessels involved.
