Prospecting in the South Atlantic for oil and gas

 

National Holidays: Friday October 13th and Monday October 16th.

 

Grains and Markets:

Vietnam and Israel are both in the market for full Supramaxes of soya bean meal during December. Japan is looking for a Panamax of soya beans during December.

Japan is also wanting a full Panamax of maize during January, and Honduras wants a Handy of maize during November.

Second stage of the gas pipeline Vaca Muerta to the Litoral:

Offers for the second stage of the pipeline from Vaca Muerta to Litoral will be opened during this week. This stage, much like the first stage will be 526 kms long. The intention is to have the whole work completed by mid-2024. Most possibly the system for provision and laying down will be similar to the first stage with the uncoated pipes being supplied from Brazil, shipped from Rio de Janeiro to Buenos Aires (Dock Sud) where they are coated prior to being laid down.

Prospecting in the South Atlantic for oil and gas:

The seismic prospecting vessel BGP Prospector has arrived in Argentina and expects to commence surveys at the CAN-100 area of the coast of Argentina starting next Friday October 06th. This area is considered to have significant reserves of shale oil and gas. Additionally by February 2024 it is estimated that the drilling vessel Valaris DS 17 will also commence prospecting.

 

STS BUNKER AT ZONA COMUN FOR NEXT DAYS:

As always, the STS operation is up to the discretion of the Masters of the vessels involved.
