Tunisians are still in the market for a Supramax of soya beans basis May.
Algeria is tendering for a Panamax of soya bean meal on June dates.
They (Algerians) are also to tender for two Panamaxes of maize, also June dates.
Bahia Blanca (Puerto Rosales) – Crude loading and discharge at SBMs:
The two SBMs at Puerto Rosales (outer Bahia Blanca estuary) are now operating at full capacity.
During February/March there had been a series of crude oil leakages detected at the two SBMs located at Puerto Rosales (outer area of the Bahia Blanca estuary).
Environmental authorities had closed both down until the leakages were found and repaired.
The SBMs are called Punta Ancla and Punta Cigüeña.
Punta Cigüeña loads crude oil for export into Suezmax tankers from Oiltanking facility onshore.
Punta Ancla is dedicated to crude oil from Patagonia that feed into the local pipeline grid for distribution to refineries.
