Argentina offshore prospecting – CAN-100 area
National Holidays:

Grains and Markets:
Iran’s SLAL has purchased 100,000 tons of soya bean meal on C&F basis from Viterra, ECSA origin. April/May dates.
Thais are in for a Supramax of beans during May.
Colombians are looking for a Supramax of soya bean meal in June.
Nigerians are looking for a Supramax of wheat in July.
Argentina offshore prospecting – CAN-100 area:
Prospecting offshore at Argentina’s CAN-100 site is now expected to enter the next phase of operation.
The drill ship VALARIS DS-17 is expected to arrive in the area within the next couple of weeks.
In the meantime the PXGEO 2 is performing seismic surveys in the area.
The supply vessels HOS REMINGTON, SUNSRISE G and SKANDI PATAGONIA are now alongside in Mar del Plata in order to take supplies, provisions and personnel prior heading out to the area.
If the present estimates are correct the yield from this area can amount to 200,000 Bbls per day.
The area has been granted to a consortium made up of YPF, Equinor and Shell.
STS BUNKER AT ZONA COMUN FOR NEXT DAYS:
As always, the STS operation is up to the discretion of the Masters of the vessels involved.
