Grains and Markets:

Egypt’s GASC has purchased 35,250 tons of vegoils (18,000 tons soya bean oil and 17,250 tons of sunflower seed oil) on May dates.

South Korea (MFG) has purchased from ADM 66,000 tons of maize, SAfrica or ECSA origin.

South Korea (KFA) has purchased from Cofco 60,000 tons of maize, US or ECSA origin on June dates.

Saudi Arabians are in the market for 1 or 2 Panamaxes of maize on July dates.

They (Saudis) are also going to tender for 595,000 tons of wheat in June-July.

Argentine 2023-2024 harvest forecasts:

Maize harvest is well under way. Despite some concern arising from a virulent bug that is affecting the plants the forecast is now 54,000,000 tons according to the Buenos Aires Grains Exchange.

Bahia Blanca – LNG carriers:

LNG imports this winter are to be reduced.
This is partly due to the entry into service of the new gas pipeline that feed Vaca Muerta gas into the national network and a reduced demand.

Consequently, there will be no gas imports at Bahia Blanca.

Nevertheless the imports will continue to Escobar with consequent delays and interruptions for navigation to all vessels when the Recalada/Zona Comun/Escobar (Mitre Canal) is being transited by LNG carriers.

STS BUNKER AT ZONA COMUN FOR NEXT DAYS:
