Off shore exploration and production at North Argentine Basin:

Now that the principal legal objections placed by environmentalist organizations have been laid aside YPF, Equinor and Shell will be advancing in the prospecting stage for the CAN 102 sector. The potential for yields from this and other adjacent areas is considered to be equal to Vaca Muerta. The estimated daily production is forecast at 200,000 bbls per day. The base for the prospecting is to the port of Mar del Plata.

Infrastructure in the area is yet to be established, but the main shipping of production will take place from the off shore areas.
