Grains and Markets:
Chile is looking for a Supramax of soyameal April or May dates.
Korea has purchased three shipments of maize, Panamax size, one on March dates and two on April dates.
Rumors of a third soyabean “bonus” exchange rate season in Argentina are continue. Once again the Government are short of USD and need to provide incentives to farmers to sell.
The last “bonus” exchange season (December 2022) produced about 7 or 8 additional Panamaxes to China.
YPF crude port at Punta Colorada, North Patagonia:
Further to our previous report.
YPF is providing more information new port at Punta Colorada in Rio Negro province. The tank farm will have a storage capacity for 7 million barrels. These will feed to two SBMs. At this time weekly exports are predicted to be 390,000 bbls per week. The pipeline that will feed this installation from Vaca Muerta will be 700 kim long.
Forecast is that it will be fully in operation by 2H 2025.
