Strikes:
Boat services and pilot boat services resumed today April 30th at 12:00 hours at all ports.
The strike by crushing workers union has been lifted at 18:00 hours this evening, April 30th.
Further strikes are on the horizon when the bill that increases Income Tax levies on wages moves for debate to the Senate.
The House of Deputies passed the bill this afternoon.
Labor Day, May 01st:
On May 01st there will only be one pilot boat available at Zona Comun.
At Recalada services will be rendered by only one boat from Piriapolis. Montevideo, usual boarding place for pilots, will be closed.
Tugboats, nationwide, will be restricted to emergency services only.
Grains and Markets:
Algerians (OACI) wsill be tendering for 70,000 tons of soya bean meal on May dates.
Chileans are to buy a Supramax load of maize on June dates.
Saudi Arabia is to buy 1-2 Panamaxes of maize during August.
Algerians (OACI) will be tendering for 160,000 tons of maize during May.
STS BUNKER AT ZONA COMUN FOR NEXT DAYS:
