Morocco is still there for a Panamax of soya bean meal in January.
Iran (SLAL) tender for 120,000 tons of soya bean meal on November-December dates has been cancelled.
Colombia is in the market for a Supramax of maize on February dates.
They, Colombia, are also reported to be wanting another Supramax of soya bean meal, but this one on January dates.
Bahia Blanca – Chinese announcement, new urea and NPK plant in Bahia Blanca:
With much pomp yesterday it was announced that China Potassium Chemical Group will be investing USD 1,250,000,000 in Bahia Blanca to construct a urea and NPK production plant within the port.
There is an implied association with YPF who is also owner of 50 per cent of Profertil, located in Bahia Blanca.
No technical details are available as to the proposed production volume for this installation.
It must also be considered that coming Sunday 19th a national election is to be held and all votes are welcome.
