STRIKES AT VARIOUS PORTS
A series of strikes have started in Argentina at various ports with unions effecting stoppages protesting a change in the scales applied to Income Tax being proposed by Government.
At the time this message is being sent the following are stopping work:
UPRIVER:
Renova Terminal
COFCO Timbues
Terminal 6
Bunge PGSM
COFCO PGSM
Vicentin
Molinos Agro
Cargill VGG
Cargill Punta Alvear
LDC Lagos
These terminals/Ports have stopped worked as from 12:00 hours April 29th.
All boat services (Mooring and Roads services stopped as from 14:30 hours).
All the above are stopping for an undetermined (open ended) period.
NECOCHEA:
All Tugboats, Mooring services are stopping at 18:00 hours until tomorrow, April 30th at 12:00 hours.
BAHIA BLANCA:
Berth 2/3 (Viterra) stopped loading at 13:00 hours, mv STAR EMERALD.
All Tugboats, Mooring services are stopping at 18:00 hours until tomorrow, April 30th at 12:00 hours.
