New Government takes office

Grains and Markets:
The Rosario Commercial Exchange has issued its regular forecast for the 2023-2024 harvest of soya beans. It maintains now that it will be 50,000,000 tons, back to “normal” after the drought.
South Korea’s KFA bought 130,000 tons of maize for March-April dates and South Korea’s FLC bought 65,000 tons of maize for April. Origin unreported.
Algeria’s ONICL has tendered for 120,000 tons of maize, specifically from Argentina on SPOT dates.
New Government takes office:
Today, December 10th the new elected Government has taken office.
A colorful ceremony took place this morning in Buenos Aires when Javier Milei was sworn in.
As is customary it was attended by many of the neighborhood presidents.
Also, King Felipe VI, the president of Armenia, Viktor Orban of Hungary, and President Zelensky of Ukraine.
Tomorrow Monday 11th during the morning there will be more specific announcements concerning the economy.
We will be reporting on those that directly affect our activities.
