Coming soya bean and maize harvests

Grains and Markets:
Japan is in the market for a Panamax of soya beans in January.
South Korea’s Agro-Fisheries has split its demand for soya beans to one parcel of 30,000 tons end December and another of 50,000 tons late January-February (2025).
Egypt is in the market for Panamax of maize during February.
Malaysia is looking for a Supramax of maize. Also, during February.
Coming soya bean and maize harvests:
The Buenos Aires Grains Exchange report that sowing of the coming 2023-2024 crop is advancing slightly ahead of schedule compared to last year.
Weather conditions in most areas are very favorable, especially compared to the last three years where the whole Pampas area was blighted by drought.
44 per cent of the projected soya bean area has now been sown.
32.2 per cent of the projected maize has also been sown.
