Grains and Markets:
It is reported that soya bean crushing activity at Upriver is more active. This could mean less soya bean shipments and more soya meal shipments.
South Korea’s KFA has purchased a full lift of maize from Cofco. Optional ECSA or SAfrica, end September dates.
Tunisia and Vietnam are looking for full soya meal (Supramax and Panamx) on September dates.
Taiwan (MFIG) are looking for two Panamaxes of maize in July.
Bahia Blanca liquid fertilizer terminal:
The first vessel loaded with 6,000 tons of UAN has discharged her cargo at Bahia Blanca.
The mt OM BORNEO, 29,000 dtw, called at Bahia Blanca during mid May and is now completing discharge at Upriver terminals.
A discharge rate of 700 tons per hour was achieved.
TBB Terminal, owned and operated by Bunge Argentina, has a total storage capacity for 10,5000 cubic meters.
