2nd stage of the gas pipeline from Vaca Muerta

Grains and Markets:
The harvest of maize for 2022-2023 is now officially completed, the total declared is 34,000,000 tons.
Iran’s tender for 180,000 tons of maize has been awarded and the origin is Brazil. Dates 20 Sep-20 Oct.
Iran is still in the market for 180,000 tons of soya bean meal, same dates as the maize mentioned above.
2nd stage of the gas pipeline from Vaca Muerta:
The Government has announced that second stage of the Vaca Muerta gas pipeline will be tendered during the coming week.
This tender will consist of the supply and laying down of the pipeline in a similar manner to the first stage that was completed during July this year.
It will consist of 674 km of steel piping of between 30 and 36 inches in diameter. The piping for the first stage was sourced in Brazil, loaded in Rio de Janeiro and discharged in Buenos Aires (Dock Sud) where it was lined, coated and then transported by land to the construction sites. The first stage was awarded to Techint and they are considered the front runners for this tender as well.
