The Dominican Republic is in the market for a combo Supramax maize and soya bean meal, December dates. Vietnam is also in the market for Panamax of soya beans in December.
Iran is still there with the tender for 180,000 tons of maize. Algeria is looking for offers for a full Panamax of maize in October.
Colombia is in the market for a Supramax of soya bean meal in October. Bangladesh is wanting a December Supramax of meal in December.
China has purchased two MRs of soya oil for April dates.
Maize Argentina 2023-2024 crop:
Sowing of maize for the 2023-2024 crop has started. The estimated surface to be sown is 7,300,000 hectares, and with normal yields the harvest would amount to 55,000,000 tons.
Optimism is rampant with rains back over most areas.
